About Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals checks and validates your fundamental knowledge of cloud services and how Microsoft Azure provides the cloud services, irrespective of any specific role. Exam AZ-900 is for candidates looking to demonstrate working knowledge – foundation level of cloud services and how these services are offered by Microsoft Azure. This is an exam for people of non-technical backgrounds, like those in the sales and marketing and purchase of cloud-based solutions, or anyone who has some involvement with cloud-based solutions. The technical people can take this exam to demonstrate their working knowledge of cloud-based services and solutions. No Technical IT experience, is, however, required to take this certification. Some general IT knowledge or experience is always helpful. While this exam serves as a precursor to other Microsoft Exam certifications of Azure services, it is not a pre-requisite before taking any other Azure-based Certification.
